Dan Tomlinson

Dan has had the honor of playing at the White House… Twice!! He has spent years playing drums in all the major venues in the United States and Europe, most recently with world-renowned artists Acoustic Alchemy & Lyle Lovett. His numerous TV appearances include The Tonight Show (17 times), Letterman, The Grammys, Austin City Limits, Good Morning America, and Regis and Kathy Lee. Other artists Dan has played with include Sting, Bonnie Raitt, Rickie Lee Jones, Bela Fleck, Jackson Browne, Jimmy Buffett, George Duke, Leo Kottke, Alison Krauss, K.D. Lang & Willie Nelson just to name a few. While Dan killed it for many years playing drums for Cosmic Coyote he has now moved to the role of keyboard master. Who knew he could play like THAT!
Jeff Leece
Bass player extraordinaire Jeff Leece is the perfect next layer to this musical “cake!” Floating on a sea of drums, Jeff takes his life in his own hands and crafts tasteful, quality riffs with a style and grace to be admired by bass players around the world! Jeff moved to Phoenix in 1999 to work on the "Tongue N' Groove” project for Atlantic Records. He soon became a major talent in the Phoenix music scene and he’s been playing around Arizona ever since! Bands Jeff has played with around town include Hello Swindon, Radio Theory, Toomstoners, Vicious Fishes, Mind Advancement Team, The Steven Vincent Band and The Soul Solution. Most recently Jeff has “gone country” and has spent the last several years sharing the stage with Western Fusion & Southbound, Blaine Long of the Voice Season 11, among other great artists.

Dave Vito

Dave has been around the Tempe Music Scene since 1978. He has played with Walt Richardson, Twist of Fate, The Hannay Brothers, Squiddog, Jim Bachmann and the Day Drinkers, The James Parks Band, Joe Vito and the Calamari Kids, and the Sunday Night Healers, as well as fronting his own band, The Volunteers. Dave is also an accomplished songwriter with 4 projects released to date including his 2016 release Grey, reviewed by the New Times as one of the Best Local Albums produced that year.
Craig Hannay
Always with the the perfect guitar tones for our journey, mastermind Craig Hannay brings his vision of this Dead tribute to the stage with Cosmic Coyote!! Singing and playing guitar parts that would normally be handled by two people, Craig channels the Dead’s music with an effortless finesse perfected by years of experience! The band’s fearless leader, Craig spent the 80’s & 90’s as frontman in the Tempe-based bands The Hannay Brothers & Twist of Fate among others. As owner of Treehouse Studio, Craig has done extensive live & studio work in the valley. He was featured in a 2009 article in Premier Guitar Magazine titled, “Five Studio Setups That Will Change How You Think About Recording.

Tim McAnally

If there were a definition for “Guitar player’s guitar player” in the dictionary, Tim McAnally’s picture would be next to it! Calmly waiting in the shadows until it’s time for his solo, Tim steps into the light and delivers astounding guitar riffs and licks clearly only meant for the gods!!!! Tim has extensive experience playing guitar on stage and in the studio and has been a member of the local bands Volunteers, Squiddog, and Canyon. As well as being a guitarist, Tim has also been a producer, engineer & sound guru around Phoenix for a many years. It has been said “He knows exactly which knobs to turn!”
Roger Wiedabach
Roger grew up playing drums and touring around the Midwest. Having a passion for singing, he decided to move out from behind the drums and become a frontman in 2001! Bands he has had the privilege of fronting include Phoenix-based The Vicious Fishes (with Jeff Leece on Bass!), Sane Difference, High Strung, Chill Factor and, most notably, Shallow Water. He has also played many shows with the Vegas-based bands Bugsy’s Hitmen & Vegas Rock Xperience.


Todd Chuba
Todd’s success as a drummer/percussionist is a true testament to his “musician’s” approach to playing. He has recorded, performed & toured, both nationally & internationally with the likes of Nils Lofgren, Paul Rogers, Eric Burden, Glen Campbell, Joey DeFrancesco, David Griesman, David Garfield, Steve Gadd, Steve Ferrone, Ray Herndon, Tom Booth, Al Casey, Alice Tatum, Brian Chartrand, Khani Cole, and Stevie Nicks.
Jordan Tompkins
Born and raised in Phoenix, Jordan is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist as well as a very talented Artist. Jordan’s amazing drumming has become an integral part of Cosmic Coyote and his energy shines through at every show! He also currently plays shows with: Mario Why, Thankyoumaxo, Dirt Skirt, and OO.
